一、 教学内容
本课为 Unit 2 English around the world 的阅读课。主要介绍了英语及 其在世界上的发展状况。和各种各样带有民族、地域特色的英语。通 过对这节课的探讨,旨在加强英语语言的了解,以及对当代语言特别 是英语发展趋势的了解。

二、 学情分析
本次授课的班级是高一(1) 班,学生的总体水平不高,词汇的储存 量不大。本话题比较吸引学生。同时在教学过程中,采取小组合作模 式,调动起学生的竞争意识,积极发言开口说英语,大大激发了学生 学习的兴趣。

三、 教学目标
1.知识目标 1)能够正确朗读单词和短语:voyage, native, apartment, vocabulary, latter, identity, because of , come up, be based on , make use of 2) 能够了解英语的发展 2. 能力目标 1)能够提高阅读能力, 了解一些阅读技巧。比如说:略读,寻读。 2)能够借助图片和信息,对文章内容进行预测。 3.情感目标

1)了解英语的重要性。 2)培养学生的合作意识。

四、教学重难点
教学重点:掌握本课的单词和短语 教学难点:提高阅读能力 五、 教具:多媒体,黑板,资料
